We are concerned for the life of Kurdish activist Habibollah Latifi, as information has emerged that his death sentence will be executed this Sunday 26th December 2010 by the Iranian regime.

Latifi has been imprisoned since 2007, accused of `threatening national security`. In 2008 Latifi was sentenced in a trial that lasted only a couple of minutes. Amnesty International has raised Latifi’s case and now we urge the European Union call on Iran to immediately stop the execution of Habibollah Latifi.
